Description:
Undeniably aran but with a mind of its own, this "new classic" combines carefree cables, bobbles and drops (oh my!) for a day at the beach or a night on the town.
The body starts with a "ribbing" of sorts that flows into the cables. It is irregular and may seem bizarre but it will make sense as you get into the cables themselves so just trust the pattern! The cables are all different but are actually quite easy. They are labeled A to E with a key for each below the charts.
Dropped stitches provide a great deal of impact with a minimum of effort. Be sure to use the long-tail cast on as the dropped stitches may not work with other cast ons. Don't worry that the body seems much too small as you work on it and the dropped stitches don't show. The stitches are dropped only when you bind off, and they will expand dramatically to provide the desired width and look.
Yarn suggestions: Brown Sheep - Cotton Fleece; Tahki Yarns - Cotton Classic
